Community Dental Service
Our community dental service is open to both children and adults, who have specific dental needs.
This site will help you:
- Access urgent dental care through the Dental Advice Line for Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin
- Access special care dentistry and paediatric dentistry services via the referral process
- Know what to expect when attending an appointment with us
Specialist services are accessed via referral only
- Services comprise of special care dentistry, domiciliary dental care (home visits), paediatric dentistry and treatment of patients who have dental anxiety and phobia
- We offer intravenous and inhalational sedation services and treatment under general anaesthetic.
- Access to all our referral services is subsequent to clinical triage and considered on a case-by-case basis.

We are committed to improving people's oral health. The Healthy Smile Team provides evidence-based oral health improvement programs across Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin.
